It's fun to see that with new kids, old stories still work. For her Kindergarten classes, storyteller Mary D. helps Joe the Bear and Sam the Mouse get together. Again. And once again, they are going to eat ice cream at 3:00!
The Bloomington Storytellers' Guild was formed in 1975 to help keep the ancient tradition of oral storytelling alive.
The Guild offers members an opportunity to learn and grow in their art and to perform for various audiences.
Members of the Guild meet about once a month to share new stories and plan storytelling events.
Open meetings welcome everyone who is interested in storytelling, either as a teller or as a listener.
The Guild also makes connections between tellers and those who want to book a storyteller.
