An enthusiastic audience turned out for Stephanie's World War II program:"Safe and Sound, Letter to Follow". Many veterans of that war and their families were there and their response to the presentation was heartfelt. She mentioned a date, and someone in the dark whispered "Midway", anticipating the tragedy that was coming. There were tears and laughter and a real sense of the time period.
